  • Laser Genesis utilises a 1064nm wavelength which penetrates the skin, gently heating the upper dermis and the skin’s microvasculature which we commonly see as ‘redness’. Why is this so important? The upper dermis holds our collagen! As collagen production slows with age, fine lines, wrinkles, and laxity appear.

    Laser Genesis helps to reverse these changes by inducing ‘thermal denaturation’, a controlled wounding of the skin which stimulates our body’s healing processes, activating fibroblasts to induce collagen remodelling. Ultimately helping to reduce common cosmetic skin concerns.

  • Laser Genesis is ideal for conditions affecting the face, neck and decolletage including:

    • Concerns with Aging – Fine lines and wrinkles.

    • Redness, associated with rosacea and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (Scarring and acne).

    • Enlarged pores.

    • Uneven skin tone and texture.

    • Dull complexion.

  • Laser Genesis is considered a ‘lunchtime treatment’ meaning you will be in and out within the hour with minimal to no downtime.

    Due to the gentle heating of the skin, most patients will be able to return to work immediately. Some patients will experience short term redness post-procedure which will reduce within an hour or two.

    If you experience redness post-procedure, makeup may be applied if required.

  • After a thorough consultation it is common for patients to start with six treatments of Laser Genesis before moving towards a maintenance program for upkeep of results. However, each patient is provided with a thorough consultation and treatment is based on the individual needs of the patient as no skin is the same!

  • Laser Genesis treatments are usually spaced out 4-weeks apart before moving into a maintenance program which is recommended at 12-week intervals.

  • Laser Genesis has the fantastic ability to combine with other treatments and more often a combination of treatments is the best way to achieve significant results!

    • Laser Genesis and Vessel treatment: Targeting diffused redness and vessels such as broken capillaries, spider veins, and cherry angiomas.

    • Laser Genesis and LED: Targeting various skin concerns such as aging, redness, acne and general rejuvenation. This treatment is also fantastic for someone who wants that relaxation factor too.

    • Laser Facial: This includes a peel customised for the patients’ needs and Laser Genesis.

  • When you arrive, your clinician will take you through a thorough consultation. Your clinician will perform a thorough clinical cleanse, testing your natural barrier functioning and apply safety eyewear.

    As the treatment begins, your clinician will work in sections, you will feel a gentle warming which will gradually build in that section, our patients often describe the treatment as sitting in front of a warm fire, using a heat pack or in some cases warm rain drops.
