Lunch Time Peels

Our lunchtime peels are very superficial peels including the use of Lactic, Mandelic, Salicylic and Glycolic acids to treat a variety of skin concerns.

The peels perform a chemexfoliation, breaking down the bonds between the skin cells, this allows the superficial layers of skin to be exfoliated revealing brighter, more youthful skin below! Bring back your glow.

These peels are fantastic to do before an event, or as a little pick-me-up treatment which can be combined with our other modalities.

  • The peels perform a chemexfoliation, breaking down the bonds between the skin cells, this allows the superficial layers of skin to be exfoliated, very superficial peels do not cause ‘shedding’, often flaking and ‘dryness’ can be experienced post treatment as the skin lifts off.

    Each peel works slightly differently to target skin individual skin concerns.

  • Superficial peels treat a variety of skin concerns:

    • Pigmented Lesions and general pigmentation.

    • Keratosis pilaris

    • Scarring: Acne scarring, trauma scarring and surgical scars etc.

    • Dull, dry skin.

    • Fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Lunch time peels can be performed within an hour, leaving your skin glowing and refreshed with minimal downtime. Sometimes patients will leave with mild redness, however this often subsides within an hour.

    Makeup can be applied over the skin if necessary.

    The days following the treatment you may experience a light flakiness/dryness as the loosened skin cells exfoliate off the skin, moisturising regularly can help reduce this.

    It is important that you DO NOT touch, pick, pull or exfoliate the skin in this time, picking or pulling the skin prematurely can cause scarring, pigmentary changes and in severe cases infection. Keep the skin well moisturised throughout the day and night to help reduce the appearance of flakiness.

  • Lunch time peels can be performed every 4 to 6 weeks for treatment concerns or as a maintenance program.

  • When you arrive, your clinician will take you through a thorough consultation. Your clinician will perform a thorough clinical cleanse, testing your natural barrier functioning.

    As the treatment begins, your clinician will work in sections with the peel, you will feel light to moderate tingling sensations and itchiness over the face/area treated.

  • $130 for a singular pass.

    Additional layers may adjust the initial cost of treatment.
