Vessel and lesion treatment
Vessel Treatment
The Cutera Nd:YAG 1064nm laser diminishes and removes abnormal blood vessels such as broken capillaries, spider veins, and leg veins by targeting the haemoglobin of the vessel. The high-power beam is absorbed by the blood and coagulates the vessel which will either be removed immediately or darken and diminish over a few weeks. This helps to reduce visible vessels as well as diffused redness in the skin.
Lesion Treatment
Lesions is an umbrella term for abnormal or unwanted growth including skin tags and warts on the feet, hands and body.
Similarly to vessel treatment, a 1064nm Nd: YAG is utilised to heat and damage the tissue causing the abnormal skin growth whilst protecting surrounding skin.

Who is it for?

Vessel and lesion treatment can cause a short period of redness and inflammation which will subside within a few hours up to 48 hours. Makeup can be applied and if required the patient can see their GP for anti-inflammatory options.
-
Vessels and lesions may require up to 3 treatments to achieve a 70% clearance, and ongoing treatment may be required. However, this will be discussed within your consultation with your Dermal Clinician.
-
Vessel and lesion treatments are usually spaced out 4-weeks apart to allow adequate healing time.

When you arrive, your clinician will take you through a thorough consultation. Your clinician will perform a thorough clinical cleanse, testing your natural barrier functioning and apply safety eyewear.
A gel will be applied to areas being treated and contact cooling will help to cool and protect the skin. The Clinician will count you in and a small elastic band sensation will be felt, often patients will experience minimal discomfort with vessel treatment.
If you are nervous, please let your clinician know, we will work at your pace and will check in with you throughout the whole process.

Ranging from $150 to $400 depending on the concern.
